Fiction Review: Storm Rising

What's the Skinny: This book is a suspense with romance. One of the characters has an intense past, but the author did not go into details regarding this past.
Whats the Deets:
The month of July I read one book. ONE. BOOK. July is always a super chaotic month for us. We are usually traveling for vacation and this year we had a pretty big move where we downsized from three bedrooms and a roommate to a one bedroom tiny living situation. With all of that going on, I was glued to this book!

We get the opportunity to meet characters again that we have fallen in love with before and get to know new ones. This novels character depth is phenomenal and complex. Leif Metcalfe is recruited to work with a team to find the Book of Wars, an ancient lost biblical text, but when Viorica, a Bulgarian operative gets to it before him, an action packed plot unfolds. There honestly isn't a dull moment in this book and I enjoyed it immensely! The language at time was a bit difficult for me to follow (its a military suspense, and even though I'm a military wife, its a whole new world for me).

Lastly, the Romance was super swoon worthy. It's clean, wholesome, but Leif is the Tyler C in a world filled with Jed's (If you just watched bachelorette, you know exactly what I am talking about, which means you need to pick up this book). And there is a cliffhanger which you can guarantee you will want to get your hands on this book.
